Battle Orders from God

Each and everyday that we wake, we can compare ourselves to soldiers awakening and gearing up to face the enemy in battle for that day.  As a war soldier prepares by suiting up in his fatigues, boots, helmet, etc..., and by reloading and stocking his ammunition and weapons; so we women must get ready for the possible enemy attacks throughout our day in the spiritual realm, in our minds, and right in front of our very own eyes.

Below you will find battle orders that have been taken from a well-known excerpt of scripture (Ephesians 6) that is useful in assisting us with our daily battle gear and mindset.  Get dressed and pick up your weapons!

Are you geared up???

God's Battle Orders
  • Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power!- NOT in our own strength!

  • Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.-Our struggle is not with our families, our husbands, our children, bosses, ex-husbands, their ex-wives, etc...our struggle is a spiritual war, so fight it properly!

  • Therefore, put on the full armor  (repeated again for a purpose) of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to STAND

  • Stand firm then with the following:
The belt of truth buckled around your waist
(the infallible truth of God's word that sets you free)

The breastplate of righteousness in place
(to remind you that you are in right standing/position with God.

Your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace
(walk in peace with all men & women)

The shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one
(since you know that only faith pleases God)

The helmet of salvation
(to protect the mind of Christ inside your precious head)

The sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God
(carry the Word in your heart or tote your bible in hand...the Word is powerful!)
